We’re pleased to welcome Chaffee, Lake and Park Association for the Gifted & Talented (CLaP) as a new Watershed member!
As an affiliate of the Colorado Association for the Gifted and Talented (CAGT), the Chaffee, Lake, and Park (CLaP) Association for Gifted and Talented has a mission of creating community for gifted learners, high achievers, and their families in the region of the Mountain Board of Cooperative Educational Services (Mountain BOCES). Our vision is to assist parents and their school systems in building an educational environment for gifted learners and high achievers that fosters growth. We provide parent support groups, parent education, and gifted advocacy.
Join their monthly meetings, typically on the fourth Thursday of the month, from 6 to 7 pm. A different gifted-learner topic is addressed each month. Connect with local families while gaining insights about gifted learners and how to parent them. Learn about strategies to interact positively with your child’s teachers. Join other parents in creating volunteer opportunities for enrichment in your school.
Next Meeting is Thursday, October 25 from 6pm – 7pm
Learn methods for gifted learners and high-achieving students to stay excited about learning in their regular classroom.
